Hamurana Lodge is a spacious, welcoming, luxury boutique hotel. Located a short distance from the beautiful Hamurana Springs and just fifteen minutes from the thermal and tourist attractions of Rotorua, the property offers a refreshing taste of rural New Zealand life. The on-site, a la carte restaurant Le Manoir (in summer - with set menus in winter) serves classic New Zealand Organic cuisine, accompanied by boutique New Zealand wine list. The beef and lamb dishes are award winning having recently been awarded the highest culinary standard - the Hallmark of Excellence Award (2008/10/11). The twelve, individually decorated ensuite guest rooms have sweeping views over to Lake Rotorua and the rural countryside. Driving Info:
From Rotorua Airport:
Turn left out of the gate and continue for 9km. At the north end of the lake turn left at Mourea in Hamurana Road and follow the signs to Ngongotaha. Hamurana Lodge Boutique Hotel is on the right, a few minutes after passing the Hamurana Store.
From Ngongotaha:
From SH5 north of Rotorua turn onto SH36 signed for Tauranga. Pass through the Ngongotaha village and continue on for 5km where you will find the estate on your left.
From Tauranga and the Coromandel:
Take the new SH6 through Pyes Pa from Tauranga to Rotorua. You will reach a T intersection at Hamurana. Turn right and you will find the estate a few hundred meters
