Willawarrin is north west of Kempsey, on Armidale Road. The Slim Dusty Way Scenic Drive passes through Willawarrin on the way to Slim Dusty's childhood home. The Collombatti Scenic Drive passes Willawarrin en route to Collombatti Lookout, with 360 degree views of the countryside before travelling onto Cedar Park, with a picnic area, barbeques, amenities block and a 600 metre rainforest walk.

Wings Over Macleay
Wings Over Macleay will now be held on 1 and 2 October 2016.
The Air Show will be held over two days, with both static displays and flying displays of aircraft from "HARS" the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society as well as aerial aerobatics from the Roolettes Aerobatics team, and other exciting action.
Aircraft from Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) flyovers by Douglas DC3 (aka C-47, Dakota, Skytrain, Gooney Bird); Consolidated PBY-6A Catalina; and De Havilland DHC-4 Caribou.
Paul Bennet Airshows aerial aerobatic display flyover by L-39C Albatross Fighter Jet based in Port Macquarie and much more.
There will be aircraft stalls and food vendors on the day and souvenir programs.
